Even though we are in the thick of summer and camp season (our student ambassadors are currently assisting with camps in Nebraska, Wyoming and Colorado) it is not too early to begin planning for Fall Fling 2018. This fall weekend event, full of fun, friendship, fellowship, praise, prayer, and worship for high school students, will be held Nov. 9-11 in Gering, Neb.
This year's keynote speaker is Isaac Stephanus, Youth Minister at Clifton Christian Church, Clifton, Colo.
Begin praying for your teenagers, whether you are a pastor, parent, grandparent, mentor, or friend. How could they benefit from hearing the Word of God, this year based on 2 Timothy 2:15? How can they understand how to present themselves as one approved, correctly handling the Word of Truth? Who are the teens in your life that God wants to attend Fall Fling? How can you begin impacting and influencing them NOW to prepare them, and the college, for a wildly successful event in November?
Begin planning now. Mention Fall Fling to the teens in your life. Mark your calendar. Begin a study focused on 2 Timothy. Prepare...to be one approved.
