Welcome to this week's Focus Friday!
This week we get to learn more about Summit Christian College senior, Ben Poole! Ben is currently seeking a Bachelor of Science with a degree in Bible and Ministry.
Why Summit Christian College?
Ben chose SCC because he had a lot of friends who attended and he knew it was the only option for him because it was the only door God had opened.
Ben's wife, Valarie also attended SCC.
Life at Summit Christian College:
Ben picks Revelation as his favorite class so far at SCC because it opened up a whole new perspective to scripture for him. Ben had a tough time picking a favorite professor, but he chose Mr. Mason as the most inspiring. He says Mr. Mason's stories are Awesome in class! As a senior, Ben is one of the guys who happily takes the underclassmen under his wing as a friend and a mentor.
Life after college:
Ben plans to preach the Word after his graduation in May, wherever God calls him to.
More about Ben:
If Ben could travel anywhere for free, he would go back to Russia where he previously traveled on a missions trip. If he returned to Russia, he would go back to visit the churches he was able to work with.
Ben's favorite hobbies include hunting, hanging out with Valarie, and eating steak! (He's also a huge fan of sweets and coffee!)
If Ben had three wishes, they would be:
1. All of his family would come to Christ.
2. That he will be able to preach/minister full time.
3. To soak up information from books by just by putting the book on his head!

Zephaniah 3:17 - The Lord your God is in your midst. A victorious warrior, he will exalt over you with joy. He will be quiet in his love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.
