AWARDS WEEK - Muller receives 2020 Student Leadership Award

Each spring Summit Christian College recognizes its outstanding students, student leaders, mentors and mentees, and scholarship winners during its Spring Awards Banquet. In the past, this event has featured a formal dinner prepared and hosted by our student leaders followed by an awards presentation in the SCC Chapel. Due to the current restrictions of COVID-19, the college will be announcing its award winners throughout this week.

Today, we are pleased to announce that Luke Muller is the recipient of the 2020 Student Leadership Award.

Summit Christian College by its own mission statement is a college that considers leadership to be very significant. “Summit Christian College, an institution of higher learning, educates leaders for Christian service."

Many of our students demonstrate leadership in various ways – in their jobs, in their churches, and even in their families. The Student Leadership Award seeks to recognize a student who has demonstrated significant leadership at Summit Christian College.

This year’s recipient is Luke Muller. He has served on the Student Leadership council, and has for the past couple of years been the Resident Assistant on the men’s dorm floor. In these capacities, Luke has clearly shown exceptional leadership to the college and student body.
