Thank you to all the participants in the 2016 Summit Christian College Golf Tournament held June 20 at Scottsbluff Country Club. We had 55 total golfers entered, and raised over $30,500 for the college. The 2016 Top 3 fundraising teams were: John Steele (team captain) of Montana, $5,015; Jim Chandler (team captain) of Scottsbluff, $4,965; and David Parrish (team captain) of Scottsbluff, $4,550. Thank you also to all our hole and prize sponsors! Because of the generosity and commitment from our golf buddies and area businesses, we continue to fulfill our mission of educating leaders for Christian service.
Between https://casinoappforuk.com and my usual screen time, I don't often sign up for charity events, but 55 golfers turning out at Scottsbluff Country Club and raising over $30,500 makes a strong case for the format. The detail that stuck with me was the sponsor support covering different holes and prizes, since that seems like a realistic way for local businesses to pitch in without feeling pressured into a giant donation. It’s a reminder that smaller, well-organized efforts can add up to something meaningful.
